Gas Drilling and Health on Conference Agenda

The University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health will
host its second annual conference on the health effects of
Marcellus shale gas extraction.
The conference will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 18 at
Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland. The conference
includes a panel of five experts from Pitt, Carnegie Mellon
University and Duke University.
The conference will explore the science and methodology of
environmental health effects of natural gas extraction from shale
deposits.
