Greene County Day at Kennywood Park is scheduled for July 6. Tickets are available in the Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce at 143 East High Street.

The event is co-sponsored by the chamber, WANB Radio and Williams Energy.

Williams is an integrated natural gas company focused on exploration and production, midstream gathering and processing, and interstate natural gas transportation primarily in the Rocky Mountains, Gulf Coast, Pacific Northwest, Eastern Seaboard and the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania.

The Community Picnic is also being sponsored by Williams Energy. Tickets for the picnic are free and will be available while supplies last. The picnic will take place at pavilion 22 near the Log Jammer from noon to 1 p.m. and will include hot dogs, pasta salad, salsa and chips, watermelon and beverage. A ticket is required.

Ticket prices are $22 for a Ride All Day ticket and $22 for a Ride All Day plus bus transportation to and from Kennywood. Williams Energy also has underwritten the cost of the bus transportation this year, making it free to ride the buses to and from Kennywood. Free bus tickets will be available until the buses are filled. Buses will leave the Big Lots parking lot at 9 a.m. and leave Kennywood at 8 p.m.

Tickets will be on sale at the chamber office through July 5 and at the bus pick up at Big Lots until 9 a.m. July 6.
