MISSION STATEMENT

The Corps of Engineers and Rivers Recreation Users Summit (CERRUS) is a working group organized to review the operation of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Integrated Inland Navigation System within the Pittsburgh District and how that operation interfaces with the needs of recreational and associated interests.

This group is comprised of navigation operations specialists from the Pittsburgh District Corps of Engineers and river recreational interests including boating enthusiasts, related recreational, public and governmental entities, private facility owners, and commercial entities associated with said interests.

It is our goal to leverage the resources of the region to best facilitate the needs of our customers. The group exists to facilitate communications on areas of common interest and to exchange and disseminate information. Through these discussions, we hope to achieve the goal of providing the best possible service to all the users of the Inland Navigation System.
